Inside is very good looking, spacious and one might even say chic. Gone are the angular shapes and the ugly green electronic scoreboards. You rarely see this level of finish in an American car. The pinnacle of chic is a thin pale blue strip of illumination that runs through the entire dashboard from door to door. A huge leap in both the quality of materials and execution. Behind the two, it is very easy to sit, the middle chair is more like a large armrest, which is retracted upwards forming a backrest for sitting, and not vice versa.
The enlarged “hatch” (and we got the car in the most fancy design) is simply superfluous in our country, it will still be closed most of the time, so it’s hardly worth spending money on it.
As they say, more. The motor is wonderful! You can hear it, just enough to make it pleasant. As you can imagine, the car feels big, but thanks to the good suspension, it is easy to control. Even the steering wheel quite clearly conveys what is happening with the wheels. What struck me the most was the feeling that the Buick is very different from the Chevrolet, which seem downright cheap. And in Buick you feel a “breed”, you feel an “expensive” car with character and history.
Of course, even the initial price is a lot of money, but it is unlikely that for this amount you can find another car that combines such a level of comfort, status and even style.
I must say that recently the American auto industry, and especially GM, surprises more and more ... Pleasantly surprised!
