Dstv Gotv Decoders

There is no limit in striving for perfection, especially when it comes to the audio subsystem of a modern personal computer. With the widespread use of multichannel sound cards with digital interfaces today and the increasing support for modern advances in digital audio at the software level, the traditional problem arises before the consumer: how to take advantage of all these advantages without spending too much money. Often, computer sets of speakers with a built-in decoder (for example, from Creative, Jazz Speakers, Altec Lansing) are expensive and rather compromise solutions, which are, however, an excellent choice for people who have neither the time nor the desire to understand the wisdom of "pairing" various audio components (as it turns out from the letters of our readers, even the search and purchase of the necessary connecting cords is a problem for many, but here "plugged in, and everything started playing right away"). At the same time, high-quality wooden sets are not very affordable (and after reading the VideoLogic DigiTheatre DTS article, m Dstv Gotv Decoders any will find this wording even too soft). In others, available to the buyer at a price, there is neither a 5.1 decoder, nor any DAC (F Thus, the thought comes to use an external DD5.1 / DTS decoder. What prospects does this open to the end user? This review will focus on just such a device - an external Dolby Digital decoder, which is also a DTS decoder. The word "decoder" should not mislead you with the allegedly narrow specialization of the device, since, in addition to decoding the DD5.1 / DTS audio track for DVD movies, the DE-005 can be used to play "by digit" regular Stereo or Dolby Pro Logic, as well as for distribution of a stereo signal to 5.1 speakers thanks to the built-in effect processor. Such possibilities partially explain the not at all small price for such a device (about $ 200). It was interesting for us to compare this solution in terms of quality and usability with similar versions available in Pro Logic and Dolby Digital 5.1 in soft DVD players, as well as in Live! 5.1. In addition to various brand names, such as the Dolby Digital and Digital DTS Surround logos, on the front panel, in the very center, there is a large LED display, which shows all the modes of operation of the decoder. The rear panel contains 6 line outputs, line 1 in (stereo RCA), line in (stereo mini jack), digital optical and coaxial inputs. We have already encountered exactly the same remote control in the Jazz Speakers ROCCO 5.1 Digital Audio System. The remote control has dimensions of 60 × 15 × 160 mm. Some buttons duplicate those on the front side of the decoder: Power, Mute, switching decoder operating modes (Mode) and input switching options (Line, Optical, Coaxial), volume control. It is also possible to select with one button the operating modes of the effect processor (Theater, Hall, Stadium) and decoder (DD5.1, Pro Logic, Stereo, DTS). Separate adjustment of the channel volume level is performed using the Trim button. The Test button allows you to check the correctness of the speaker connection by alternately supplying a noise signal. Using the SPCFG button in the Dolby Digital, DTS, Pro Logic decoding modes, the band of reproduced frequencies for the satellites is adjusted (the distribution of low frequencies to the speakers other than the subwoofer). The C_Delay and S_Delay buttons are also provided only for DD 5.1 and Pro Logic modes. These settings allow you to set the delay time of the center and rear channels: S_Delay from 0 to 15 ms in 5 ms steps, and C_Delay from 0 to 5 ms in 1 ms steps. In both cases, the default is 0ms. I would like to note that the software versions of 5.1 decoders (software DVD player 5.1-channel card) from the settings have, at best, a separate volume of channels in the mixer of the card. Is it worth it on this basis to criticize such cards with WinDVD / PowerDVD in the same box for ridiculous $ 20 and praise the much more expensive hardware decoders? Unlikely. Rather, it is a normal situation: "Pay and fly!" No money - go on foot. But how critical such opportunities are - everyone decides for himself. The decoder can be connected in almost any way. There are two analog (both stereo mini jack and RCA) and two digital (coaxial, optical) inputs. I remember a popular phrase from the doodles manual: "You don't have to worry about what type of digital output your sound card has. Just take the cord and connect the sound card to the dec https://jiji.co.ke/nyali/tv-dvd-equipment/dstv-gotv-decoders-tKo7gu4HGNIgwelb79JTqeqd.html
